Discover the Motor City

Detroit is a city with a deep history that continues to evolve. Known as the heart of the American auto industry, it now blends its industrial roots with a growing arts and food scene. Visitors can walk along the Detroit Riverwalk, admire the detailed design of the Guardian Building, or spend hours exploring the Detroit Institute of Arts.

Food has also become an important part of Detroit’s identity. The city is famous for its classic Coney Island restaurants and its unique Detroit-style pizza, but many locals and visitors also head to Eastern Market, one of the oldest public markets in the United States, where farmers, food vendors, and artists gather.

Music fans will recognize Detroit as the birthplace of Motown. At the Motown Museum, also known as “Hitsville U.S.A.,” visitors can see the studio where artists like Stevie Wonder and Diana Ross recorded some of their most famous songs. Whether you are watching a baseball game at Comerica Park or listening to live music downtown, Detroit offers a memorable experience for visitors.
